As part of the University of Kent Web Team I support and update the core backend systems which power both the main website and dozens of departmental subsites.
I am currently the lead developer on a project which involves a complete rewrite of the backend system and template engine, taking advantage of the latest features in PHP 5.2 whilst maintaining a strong degree of legacy support for current systems.
